Royal Australian Navy A-4G
1966, construction was begun on eight new single-seat Skyhawks
for use by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Patterned after the A-4F they were
designated A-4G. They were modifed to carry four AIM-9B Sindwinder Missles to enable the Skyhawk to provide better fleet air defense.
