The smokers at the top left are Phantoms, beneath them are two four plane Crusader groups. In the center a four plane Crusader formation and below them two four plane Skyhawk formations. On the right towards the bottom a four plane Skyhawk formation and below them a very loose 5 plane gaggle of Demons. Notice that the only planes that aren't painting the sky black are the Skyhawks.
VF-91 was at China Lake for the demo as were the VA-163 Saints and the VA-164 Ghost Riders.
