Pilot Lt. Francies Hugh Magee, into the sea near Vinh on 25 June 1966.

Note: This was taken during a stop over in route to SE Asia. The man on the deck in the picture is (I believe) that of ADJ3 Dennis Dewitt, Plane Captain and thus attached to the Line Division which, at the time, Mr. Magee was the Division Officer. At least he was when I joined the squadron in June of that year and assigned as a Plane Captain (601). Dale "Chip" Hartzler
