During Advanced Strike Training she received two Navy "E's" for bombing accuracy. She carrier qualified in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship Enterprise (CVN-65) on August 7, 2000 and was named "Best at the Boat" for that CQ evolution.  First Lieutenant John Patrick Herron, United States Marine Corps is a 1987 graduate of the University of San Diego where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He carrier qualified September 12, 2000 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71).  First Lieutenant Paul Kirk Johnson III, United States Marine Corps is a 1997 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was named to the Commodore's List during Primary Flight Training and earned one Navy "E" for bombing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. He carrier qualified September 12, 2000 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71).  Lieutenant Benjamin Scovill Kelsey VII, United States Navy entered the flight program as a Naval Aviation Cadet. Prior to commencing jet flight training, LT Kelsey flew the H-3 Sea King helicopter with the HC-2 Fleet Angels out of Norfolk, VA. During Advanced Strike Training he earned one Navy "E" for bombing accuracy.
