is a 1989 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ensign Blackburn received a Navy "E" for strafing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Ensign Blackburn carrier qualified on board the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in October 1990 (T-2 North American Buckeye) and in the TA-4J SKYHAWK on board the United States Ship DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69) on April 29, 1991.


Ensign DOUGLAS ALLEN COCHRAN, United States Navy Reserve
attended Middle Tennessee State University where he studied Aerospace Engineering before entering the Navy under the NAVCAD Program. Ensign Cochran was named to the Commodore's List during Primary Flight Training and earned a Navy "E" for strafing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Ensign Cochran carrier qualified on board the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in October 1990 (T-2 North American Buckeye) and in the TA-4J SKYHAWK on board the United States Ship DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69) on April 29, 1991.


Ensign DAVID LEGRANDE HOLMES, United States Navy Reserve
is a 1989 graduate of Humboldt State University where Holmes received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology. Ensign Holmes was named to the Commodore's List (with Distinction) during Primary Flight Training, was VT-2's Student of the Week for March 2, 1990 and VT-19's Student of the Mouth for July 1990. Ensign Holmes earned a Navy "E" for strafing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Ensign Holmes carrier qualified on board the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in August 1990 (T-2 North American Buckeye) and in the TA-4J SKYHAWK on board the United States Ship DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69) on April 28, 1991.


Lieutenant Junior Grade THOMAS REGINALD NUTT, United States Navy
is a 1989 graduate of Duke University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Germanic Languages and Literature. Lieutenant Nutt was named to the Commodore's List during Intermediate and Advanced Flight Training. Lieutenant Nutt earned two Navy "E's" for bombing accuracy and a Navy "E" for rocket firing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Lieutenant Nutt carrier qualified on board the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in August 1990 (T-2 North American Buckeye) and in the TA-4J SKYHAWK on board the United States Ship DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-63) on April 30, 1991.


First Lieutenant DAVID ARTHUR SCHLICHTING, United States Marine Corps
is a 1988 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in the Humanities. Lieutenant Schlichting was named to the Commodore's List during Primary, Intermediate and Advanced Flight Training and was VT-2's Student of the Week for February 23, 1990 and CTW-5 Student of the Month for February 1990. Lieutenant Schlichting earned a Navy "E" for strafing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. First Lieutenant Schlichting carrier qualified on board the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in August 1990 (T-2 North American Buckeye) and in the TA-4J SKYHAWK on board the United States Ship DWIGHT D. Lieutenant Junior Grade NEYLAND TRAIL SPRINGER, United States Navy
is a 1989 graduate of Vanderbilt University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Lieutenant Springer received two Navy "E's" for bombing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Lieutenant Springer carrier qualified on board the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in August 1990 (T-2 North American Buckeye) and in the TA-4J SKYHAWK on board the United States Ship DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69) on April 27, 1991.


Lieutenant Junior Grade ERIC KRISHNA VOSKUIL, United States Navy
is a 1989 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Lieutenant Voskuil received the Academic Achievement Award during Primary Flight Training, was a VT-2 Student of the Week in January 1990, and was named to the Commodore's List during Primary, Intermediate and Advanced Flight Training. Lieutenant Voskuil earned a Navy "E" for bombing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training.
