Training Squadron SEVEN Winging of February 11, 2000

Naval Aviator students in this "Winging" group where with the VT-23 "Professionals" for their advanced flight training. These students completed some of their training with VT-23 but were not "Winged" before VT-23 disestablished on September 30, 1999 and its students transferred to Training Squadron SEVEN "Eagles". These students are technically a product of VT-7. Training Squadron SEVEN's first T-45C Goshawk student Naval Aviator Class number 2011 began October 4, 1999.


Lieutenant Junior Grade GREGORY ELGIN BROWN, United States Navy Reserve
is a 1992 graduate of Trinity Western University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Aviation and Communications. Lieutenant Brown was named to the Commodore's List during Primary, Intermediate and Advanced Flight Training and was VT-9's Student of the Month for February 1999. During Advanced Strike Training Brown earned two Navy "E's" for bombing accuracy. Lieutenant Brown carrier qualified December 14, 1999 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75).


Ensign GIORDANO CAPOVILLA, ITALIAN NAVY
is a native of Rome, Italy. Ensign Capovilla is a 1996 graduate of Rome Technical Institute where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics of Flight. During Advanced Strike Training Capovilla received three Navy "E's" for bombing accuracy. Ensign Capovilla carrier qualified December 11, 1999 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75).


First Lieutenant ROBERT J. GALLAGHER, United States Marine Corps
is a 1996 graduate of California State University at Sacramento where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During Advanced Strike Training Lieutenant Gallagher received three Navy "E's" for bombing accuracy. Lieutenant Gallagher carrier qualified January 30, 2000 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN-73).


Lieutenant Junior Grade MICHAEL BERT MEASON, United States Navy Reserve
is a 1997 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering. Lieutenant Meason was named to the Commodore's List during Primary and for Academics during Advanced Flight Training. Meason earned a Navy "E" for bombing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Lieutenant Meason carrier qualified December 12, 1999 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75).


Lieutenant Junior Grade MATT DOMINIC MENZA, United States Navy Reserve
is a 1996 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lieutenant Menza was named to the Commodore's List during Primary Flight Training and earned a Navy "E" for bombing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Lieutenant Menza carrier qualified December 13, 1999 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75).


First Lieutenant DANIEL THOMAS NAROZNIAK, United States Marine Corps Reserve
is a 1996 graduate of Rutgers University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Lieutenant Narozniak was named to the Commodore's List during Primary, Intermediate and Advanced Flight Training. Lieutenant Narozniak carrier qualified December 11, 1999 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75).


Lieutenant Junior Grade DAVID E. RASH, JR., United States Navy Reserve
is a 1996 graduate of Park College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Lieutenant Rash was named to the Commodore's List during Primary, Intermediate, and Advanced Flight Training and earned five Navy "E's" for bombing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. Lieutenant Rash carrier qualified December 12, 1999 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75).


First Lieutenant CHRISTIAN DAVID RIZZO, United States Marine Corps
is a 1996 graduate of Rutgers College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Administration. During Advanced Strike Training Rizzo earned a Navy "E" for bombing accuracy. Lieutenant Rizzo carrier qualified January 30, 2000 in the Boeing T-45C Goshawk on board the United States Ship GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN-73).
