Ensign JOHN PAUL CARBONARI, United States Navy Reserve
is a 1988 graduate of Iowa State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. He was named to the Commodore's List during Intermediate Flight Training and earned one Navy "Ell for strafing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. He carrier qualified aboard the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in June 1990 (T-2 Buckeye) and in the TA-4J Skyhawk on January 21, 1991.

Captain DONALD ALLAN GROVES, United States Marine Corps Reserve
is a 1982 graduate of Auburn University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. Captain Groves was first winged as a Naval aviator in August 1984. For the past seven years he flew AH-1 attack helicopters and also instructed in T-34C's as a Primary Flight Instructor before transitioning to jets. He received one Navy "E" for bombing accuracy during Advanced Strike Training. He carrier qualified aboard the United States Ship LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in the TA-4J Skyhawk on March 7, 1991.
