VT-7 Graduates of July 27, 1990:


LCDR GIUSEPPE CAVO DRAGONE, ITALIAN NAVY
LCDR CAVO DRAGONE is a 1980 graduate of the Italian Naval Academy. He was named to the Commodore's List during Advanced flight training and earned one Navy "E" for bombing accuracy. He carrier qualified in the T-2 Buckeye aboard the USS LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in January 1990. LCDR Cavo Dragone earned his helo wings in August 1982 at NAS Whiting Field and has already accrued approximately 2000 hours of flight time. He served with distinction in Lebanon operations in 1982, in the Persian Gulf crisis from September 1987 to March 1988, and most recently as the Commanding Officer of a mine sweeper in 1989. He will continue his training in the AV-8B Harrier at Cherry Point before returning to Italy to assume command of Italy's first Naval Harrier Squadron.

LCDR VINCENZO DOMENICO IZZI, ITALIAN NAVY
LCDR IZZI is a 1980 graduate of the Italian Naval Academy. He was named to the Commodore's List during Intermediate and Advanced flight training and earned one Navy "E" for bombing accuracy. He carrier qualified in the T-2 Buckeye aboard the USS LEXINGTON (AVT-16) in January 1990. LCDR Izzi has more than 2000 hours of flight time, most of which was accrued during over five years of service in Sigonella, Italy. He served with distinction as the Executive Officer of a frigate in 1988 and most recently as the Commanding Officer of a mine sweeper in 1989. He will continue his training in the AV-8B at Cherry Point before returning to Italy for assignment as the Executive Officer of Italy's first Naval Harrier Squadron.
