Ensign Byrne carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on April 10, 1983. Ensign Byrne has orders to VC-8, at Naval Air Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico to fly the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk.  Lieutenant Junior Grade Steven Dunkle, United States Navy is a 1981 graduate of the University of Washington where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. Dunkle was named to the Commodore's List in intermediate and advanced jet training. Lieutenant Dunkle will fly the Grumman A-6 Intruder at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington.  First Lieutenant William E. Gary, United States Marine Corps Reserve is a 1981 graduate of the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geography. Lieutenant Gary carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on May 15, 1983.  Ensign Steven Holst, United States Navy Reserve is a 1981 graduate of St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Ensign Holst carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on May 15, 1983. Ensign Holst will proceed to VS-41, Naval Air Station North Island, California, to fly the S-3 Viking.  Lieutenant Junior Grade Kevin C. Hutcheson, United States Navy is a 1981 graduate of the University of Rochester where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Hutcheson was named to the Commodore' s list in primary flight training. Lieutenant Hutcheson carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on April 10, 1983. Lieutenant Hutcheson will fly the Vought A-7E, Corsair II with VA-122, Naval Air Station Lemoore, California.  Ensign Robert H. Kay, United States Navy Reserve is a 1979 graduate of Troy University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Ensign Kay carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on May 15, 1983. He will, be flying the Douglas A-3 Skywarrior with VAQ-34, Point Magu, California.  Ensign Mark Kinnane, United States Navy Reserve is a 1981 graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science. He was named to the Commodore's List in advanced flight training. Ensign Kinnane carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on May 15, 1983. He will proceed to Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia to fly the Grumman A-6 Intruder with VA-42.  Ensign Alec Larson, United States Navy Reserve is a 1979 graduate of Chico State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Ensign Larson carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on May 14, 1983. Ensign Larson has orders to RVAW 120, Naval Air Station Norfolk, Virginia, to fly the Grumman E-2/C-2 Hawkeye.  Lieutenant Junior Grade Stephen Nott, United States Navy Reserve is a 1980 graduate of Jacksonville University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Lieutenant Nott carrier qualified in a Douglas TA-4J Skyhawk on board United States Ship Lexington CVA-16 on May 15, 1983. He will remain at Naval Air Station Meridian to be an advanced strike instructor pilot with VT-7. |
