Description: Left to right: VA-195 CO CDR Charles E. Hathaway, named CO on 01 APR 1966, was shotdown on 281st mission 07 APR 1967 and was recovered and returned to the Ticonderoga. He achieved the second highest sortie count, surpassed only by his replacement as CO CDR Samuel R. Chessman who flew a total of 306 sorties during the war.
On the right is Dick Tulley, who was CO of VA-127 during Nickel Grass.
