LCDR Robert Stanek 03 September 1996 VF-152 Commanding Officer July 1952 to October 1953 While "Skipper" of VF-152, during the Korean War, LCDR Stanek was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for action on May 3, 1953, also the Bronze Star w/Combat Distinguishing Device, and four air medals.
