VF-126 TA-4J SKYHAWK BuNo. 154334 - June 5, 1992
TA-4J BuNo. 154334, side number NJ-15 of the VF-126 "Bandits", Naval Air Station Miramar, California, taxiing toward the Naval Air Station Atlanta transit line, June 5, 1992. This aircraft carries what might be called a "snake" camouflage scheme, complete with green Libyan insignia on tail. Prior to the end of the Cold War, "Bandit" aircraft were marked with a red star; this fell from favor (as in other adversary units), so markings of various other prospective enemies were applied after 1991.
