21 May 1982: HMS Ardent sunk by Captain P. Carballo, Lieutenant C. Rinke, 1st Lieutenant Cachón and Alférez Carmona.
The first A-4B lost the end of his left drop tank when it hit a ship antenna.

23 MAY 1982:
Argentine Air Force Escuadron III Grupo 5 A-4P/B and Argentine Navy Third Escuadrilla A-4Q/B Skyhawks attacked the type 21 Amazon class frigate, the HMS Antelope. During the attack A-4Q/B piloted by Captain P. Carballo was inverted by an exploding missile. A Group 5 Skyhawk piloted by 1st Tieutenant L.Guadagnini was shot down after dropping a bomb. Another Skyhawk piloted by Alférez H. Gómez dropped a bomb on HMS Antelope but the bomb didn't explode. The Argentine attacks scored multiple bomb hits on Antelope causing serious damage and fires. The still afloat Antelope was forced from combat. During the night, while attempting to disarm an un-exploded bomb, the bomb exploded opening Antelope's hull and cutting the ship in half. HMS Antelope then sank.

25 MAY 1982:
Argentine Air Force Escuadron III Grupo 5 Skyhawks piloted by Captain P. Carballo and Lieutenant C. Rinke attacked HMS Broadsword. The Argentine pilots dropped their Mark 17, 1000-pound bombs on Broadsword, but the bomb(s) failed to explode when they struck the ships stern. Never-the-less the bombs holed the Broadsword, critically damaged a Lynx helicopter and forced Broadsword to come to a stop.
During the Argentine Air Force Escuadron III Grupo 5 attack on HMS Broadsword, north of Borbon Island, the accompanying type 42 class destroyer, HMS Coventry crossed in front of Broadsword's firing line.
As Escuadron III Grupo 5 pilots Captain M. Velazco and Captain Alférez J. Barrionuevo engaged the HMS Broadsword´s Sea Wolf missile system, the Broadsword fired a missile at the Skyhawk deuce - and by a contested account missing the Skyhawks but hitting HMS Coventry with the missile.
Then Captain Velazco's flight attacked by dropped their 1000-pound bombs on Coventry - - - getting a hit that breached the hull near the water line. This caused uncontrollable fires and in 20 minutes Coventry sank.

29 MAY 1982:
Until May 29th, bombing missions were directed at San Carlos. Several Skyhawks were lost, while considerable damage was done to the British troops and equipment in the zone.
30 MAY 1982:
Argentine Air Force Escuadron I Grupo 4 Skyhawks attacked HMS Invincible after an Argentine Navy Exocet missile hit Invincible. Grupo 4 pilots First Lieutenant E. Ureta, First Lieutenant Alférez G. Isaac, First Lieutenant Vazquez and First Lieutenant Castillo attacked and bombed Invincible. First Lieutenant Vazquez and First Lieutenant Castillo were shot down and killed in this action. The British denied this action happened.

18 JUN 1982:
Argentine Air Force Escuadron III Grupo 5 and Escuadron I Grupo 4 Skyhawks attacked LSL (troop landing ships) RFA Sir Tristam and HMS Sir Galahad while the pair were disembarking British troops in Agradable Bay.
The Skyhawk pilots scored hits with three 500-pound bombs on Sir Tristam. The bombs exploded in the engine room and crew quarters causing an uncontrollable fire and killing many of the two troop companies aboard. The British sank the hulk as war tomb.
HMS Sir Galahad was severly damaged in the engagement.

One of the Skyhawks was hit in his fuel tank so he had to be refueled several times on the way home.
